Building A Healthier,   
Substance-Free Future 

The Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance (S.A.R.A.) is a community coalition working to reduce and prevent substance use among students in grades 6–12 throughout the City of Miramar.​ 

OUR FOCUS AREAS

We unite youth, families, schools, law enforcement, businesses, healthcare professionals, faith and community leaders, and local government to develop prevention strategies that respond to the needs of our community.

OUR APPROACH

S.A.R.A. uses the Strategic Prevention Framework to understand local needs, build strong partnerships, implement effective prevention strategies, and evaluate community progress.
